On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Manager, Content & Digital Strategy to join their team of dedicated professionals in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Manager, Content & Digital Strategy will plan and manage the social media presence for the organization and create memorable, brand-focused content for all of its strategic projects. Working with the entire Develop Nova Scotia team, the successful candidate will be responsible for telling the organization’s story through social and digital content, presentations, and reports. Creating, updating and management of series of stock organizational and brand presentations, as well as support for leadership or subject matter experts for adaptation of presentations are also key aspects in this role. Keeping ideas crisp, language relatable and complex ideas simple, the Manager, Content & Digital Strategy will be responsible for the identification, generation, development and management of memorable stories and imagery that demonstrates Develop Nova Scotia’s work and impact across the province.

As the ideal candidate, you possess five to seven years experience in a related marketing, public relations, communications or advertising role. Experience having led or managed social media and digital content programs for a company or organization, including measurement, tracking and results will be key in this role. Proven marketing or communications planning and execution that has produced tangible results is essential. Your preference is to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. Experience with InDesign, speechwriting, formal photography and/or videography training and/or experience will be considered assets. With exceptional interpersonal, writing and communication skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature. A university degree in business, communications, marketing or related field is required.
